My name is Shelly Rua, the founder and instructor of GramaTeca. I am passionate about helping students master Spanish with confidence. As a native Spanish speaker with a bachelor's and master’s degree in Spanish language and literature, I have spent over 10 years teaching both secondary and adult learners. Throughout my career, I have witnessed how learning a new language can open doors to new cultures, experiences, and connections.

At GramaTeca, my goal is to make language learning engaging, accessible, and effective. I have designed the courses to help you strengthen your Spanish skills at your own pace with clear explanations and practical exercises. Whether you are brushing up on grammar, expanding your vocabulary, or preparing for real-world conversations, I am here to guide and support you every step of the way.
