Course Structure

We offer two course formats designed to suit different schedules and learning preferences.

1. Independent learning with Tertulias

This course follows a flipped classroom model, allowing students to engage with the material at their own pace before coming together for interactive discussions and activities.

Independent Learning

Each week, students will receive access to instructional videos and supplementary materials one week in advance. These resources will provide the necessary concepts, tools, and practice exercises to prepare for the live sessions. Students are expected to review the materials and practice independently to ensure they are ready to actively participate in discussions and activities.

Weekly Tertulias (Live Zoom Sessions)

The heart of the course is our weekly Tertulia, a 50-minute interactive Zoom gathering where students will apply what they have learned. Through group and partner activities, students will engage in discussions, problem-solving, and real-world applications of the material in a collaborative setting.

 The Tertulia is designed to:

  • Reinforce key concepts through practical exercises.

  • Foster meaningful peer interaction and collaborative learning.

  • Provide an opportunity for students to ask questions and gain deeper insights.

By combining independent learning with live interactive practice, this course ensures students not only understand the material but also develop the confidence to apply it in real-world contexts.

2. Self-Paced

This flexible, independent learning option is designed for students who prefer to study on their own schedule. Although this course does not include Tertulias, students have the option to schedule one-on-one sessions to practice what they have learned. (additional fees apply)
